In the context of the European project openENTRANCE that aims at developing, using and disseminating an open, transparent and integrated modelling platform for assessing low-carbon transition pathways in Europe, we are committed to develop the Open Generation and Transmission Operation and Expansion Planning Model with RES and ESS (openTEPES).
The model has been developed in Python/Pyomo and all the information, documentation and source code are available from this link.
The motto of the development is providing Simplicity and Transparency in Power Systems Planning
