Steven Chu en la Kennedy

Si dice algo nuevo lo colgaré, pero creo esto de bloguear en directo es demasiado lioso…

La verdad es que no ha dicho nada realmente nuevo. De hecho, se ha centrado mucho en la eficiencia energética al estilo McKinsey: es rentable por sí misma, así que ¿por qué no lo hacemos? El punto de vista "ingenieril". Algunas frases interesantes en todo caso:

We have to skate where the puck is going to be, not where it has been (frase de un famoso jugador de hockey, totalmente trasladable al panorama energético).

I'm a big fan of renewables and efficiency, but they will take time, so we need nuclear and CCS.

We need Energy Innovation Hubs: Energy Frontier Research Centers, Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E, short-term, high-risk - high-reward research).
