En cualquier caso, su solución para desarrollar toda la tecnología que hace falta es Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, cuyo objetivo es fundamentalmente lograr financiación barata para invertir en: captura directa de CO2, hidrógeno verde, almacenamiento de larga duración, y combustible de aviación sostenible. Según sus cuentas, hacen falta 784 mil millones de dólares adicionales para reducir el tiempo de desarrollo de estas tecnologías entre 15 y 20 años.
