Recommended reading on energy is a bibliography of the books and articles I have found most useful in my own research on energy. Energy-related issues are broadly defined to include production, consumption, transportation, technology, trading and risk management, security, diplomacy and aspects of economic and social history. The list started out as an aide-memoire and in response to requests for recommendations on various topics. I update the list once each quarter. It has since grown very large so I have introduced an index page with internal links. The choice is inevitably subjective.
